IFS Healing Circle for IFS Therapists & Practitioners*

A 12-Week Experiential Group Journey of Relational Healing
with Ciro Coelho

New 12-Week Cycle Begins on April 23, 2026

A small IFS practice group designed for IFS Therapists and Practitioners who want to deepen Self-led presence in their clinical and personal lives.

This is an IFS group for professionals who recognize parts carrying a quiet burnout beneath competence, the fatigue of over-functioning, the subtle isolation of always being the steady one, and long for depth without performance.

This is not a consultation group or a case discussion forum. It is a space where those who hold others are themselves held, and where even the most capable parts are allowed to rest, be witnessed, and unburden.

The group is intentionally small to preserve depth, accountability, and psychological safety, creating a contained field where meaningful process can unfold.

The 12-Week Arc

Each 12-week cycle follows a deliberate developmental arc. We begin with orientation and intention-setting, as each participant identifies a live area of focus — a part, polarization, or constellation in need of greater awareness and compassion. From there, the work deepens through meditations and structured witnessing, experiential exercises, live facilitation, system sculpts, and careful attention to nervous system regulation.

As trust builds within the group field, parts that typically remain hidden or over-functioning begin to emerge and reorganize in the presence of Self. The final phase centers on integration and clinical application, supporting participants in translating their inner shifts into a more grounded, coherent, and quietly confident therapeutic presence.

Participants may continue into subsequent cycles, allowing the work to deepen over time while strengthening an ongoing professional community rooted in shared practice.

Facilitation & Background

The group is facilitated using principles drawn from advanced IFS training and structured relational group process models. Ciro also draws on Chris Burris’s Creating Healing Circles model, emphasizing intentional process, relational safety, and corrective relational experience. Sessions are enriched by Polyvagal Theory, Nonviolent Communication, Integral Theory, Mindfulness, and Meditation.

Ciro Coelho is an Internal Family Systems Level 3–trained Practitioner and Certified Integral Coach who works with individual and group clients worldwide. His work is grounded in rigorous professional training and more than four decades of lived experience overcoming chronic depression — lived experience that informs the depth, precision, and compassion he brings to his work. He offers a grounded, integrative approach that honors psychological depth while supporting clarity, agency, and meaningful forward movement.

IFS groups offer an opportunity for individuals in the group to see their Parts as universally natural and part of being human. Group settings provide real-time experiences where it is possible to heal alongside someone who has triggered unresolved trauma in yourself. […] Internal wounding occurs as a result of interpersonal dynamics. Therefore, therapeutic resolution needs to occur both internally and interpersonally to be fully transformative and integrated […]

“Ciro, I can’t thank you enough for this wonderful opportunity. It’s Magical on quite a few levels, from my relationship with my son (who participated in the group) to reigniting the spark of creativity!”

Michael Uys - Award-winning Filmmaker and Television Commercial Director – Brooklyn, NY

“I have continually participated in Ciro’s online Inward Ride since April of 2020. I get my value system shaken to its core and I grow with each session, and I am hugely appreciative of the warmth and acceptance of the group. I really cannot recommend it highly enough. I am learning things that I never thought possible.”

Luke Rowe – Real Estate Investor – Jakarta, Indonesia

"Inward Ride arrived in my life at a moment when I was struggling with finding peace, balance and joy. Ciro created a safe and open space for me and others in our group to practice vulnerability, explore inner tools of acceptance and curiosity, and discover self-love. During my Inward Ride journey, I knew I could count on a weekly dose of wise guidance from Ciro, warmth from the support of the group, and the precious moment of honoring myself. If there's any sense of misalignment in one's life, I would highly recommend considering taking an Inward Ride."

Iosefa Alofaituli, Executive Director CIELO – Los Angeles, CA

"Congratulations on the development of this amazing group offering. Rarely do I see such emotional and spiritual courage and vulnerability matched with the structure, preparedness, and groundedness that Ciro brings to this program.”

Sarah Todd – Proprietor, Musician, Creative Producer – Iggy T Music - Seattle, WA

“Thank you for an enlightening Inward Ride, Ciro. Your presence and focus on each student was such a gift, and I felt completely held by the love that you wrapped the entire group up in. I feel that through the extreme level of intimacy and vulnerability that we shared together as a group, you helped me cultivate my inner gold. Through conscious observation of emotion and how I engage with others, and how others engage with me, I have found a real sense of spiritual alignment even in our short seven sessions. I have learned to attend to myself in a new way. “

Alex Uys – 2020 College Graduate – San Diego, CA

FAQ & Common Concerns Regarding Group Work

  • That fear is very common. Parts worry that if others see your vulnerability, you might be judged or overwhelmed.

In the group, you always choose your level of sharing.

You are never pushed to reveal anything before you’re ready.

Most people discover that being witnessed at your own pace becomes one of the most healing aspects of the group.

  • Groups naturally include a range of experience.

IFS isn’t about being “advanced”; it’s about being in relationship with your parts.

Your pace, your style, and your level of familiarity are welcome.

Feeling “behind” is usually a protector anticipating old rejection, and we make room for that part, too.

  • Many participants arrive with parts that fear being “too much” or “not enough.”

Groups are structured so everyone has time, and choice, in how they participate.

If this fear is present for you, it’s not a barrier; it’s actually a beautiful starting place for the work.

  • Everyone has protective parts that worry how they look in the eyes of others.

We begin by building a container that feels safe, consistent, and trustworthy for everyone.

    This group isn’t evaluative.

There’s no hierarchy, no ranking, and no expectation to perform.

Most people quickly realize others are far more focused on their own inner world than on judging anyone else.

  • That concern is valid; groups can touch early relational injuries.

The difference here is structure + facilitation + consent.

Dynamics that appear become material for gentle exploration, not something you have to manage alone.

You won’t be left without support if something gets activated.

  • For sensitive or empathetic people, this is a very real fear.

Group sessions are paced intentionally, with clear boundaries and guidance.

You can always step back, slow down, or take a break.

You are not responsible for anyone else’s feelings — and we work directly with the parts that feel otherwise.

  • The container is actively facilitated.

If someone takes over, interrupts, or brings intensity that affects the group, it is addressed calmly and directly.

Creating safety is not left to chance; it is part of the structure.

  • Emotional expression — including tears, silence, or overwhelm — is normal and expected.

You will not be judged or spotlighted.

You’ll receive support in a way that feels comfortable for you.

These moments often turn into meaningful openings for inner connection.

  • It’s normal for parts to fear committing to something that matters.

The group is a closed container, and consistency supports safety and trust.

If you miss occasionally, that’s okay.

What matters is the intention to stay engaged over the 12 weeks.

  • That’s a protective part doing its job: evaluating risk.

Groups provide multiple layers of value — personal work, witnessing, community, and co-regulation.

Still, you’re the only one who can decide if now is the right time.

You’re welcome to ask questions before joining, without pressure.

  • Every group has people who come in with this belief, even very experienced therapists.

It’s simply a protector carrying comparison and shame.

Groups quickly show that everyone has a complex inner world, and everyone belongs exactly as they are.

  • If something significant arises, you will not be left alone with it.

You will be supported in the group, and you can bring it to your individual therapy/IFS work, and you can also request additional support or guidance on how to hold it between sessions.

About Inward Ride Groups (Not being Offered at the Moment)

  • I created the Inward Ride Groups (then called The Connection Series) in April of 2020, in the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, with the goal of supporting and empowering individuals during those trying times.

The group meets weekly for one hour and thirty minutes during seven weeks. It has a maximum of six people - plus myself. Some of the themes covered are intimacy, loneliness, creativity, procrastination, career choices, feeling stuck, personal integrity, the importance of grieving, and conscious relationships.

The work is experiential and pragmatic. In a safe and dynamic environment, I teach how to make life choices based on inner wisdom - rather than conditioning - , how to recognize and honor one’s deep needs and core values. The work is substantiated by scientific research and tried and true collective and personal experience. See the Group Testimonials to learn about the experience of previous and current group members.

The Inward Ride online group offering is one entryway into my mentoring work for new students. The other is a first free session. See above.
