Beyond Depression

Getting Unstuck:
Restoring the Capacity to Move Forward

A Structured 12-Week Process
for Restoring Inner Leadership

with Ciro Coelho

New Group Starts on Wednesday, August 12, 2026

You don’t need to have things figured out to join. Many people arrive simply feeling stuck, tired, or unsure how to move forward.

This group is designed for adults who are ready to work directly with the inner dynamics of depression, collapse, confusion, or long periods of stuckness, and who want to begin rebuilding clarity, agency, and the capacity for meaningful forward movement.

Depression can narrow a life, flattening vitality, distorting perception, and quietly eroding a sense of direction and choice. Over time, it begins to feel less like an experience and more like who you are.

For many people, the most painful aspect is not only the sadness or heaviness, but the gradual loss of forward movement. Life begins to stall. Decisions feel heavier. Possibilities that once felt reachable begin to feel distant or irrelevant.

Beyond Depression is a structured 12-week small-group process designed to help participants understand the inner dynamics that sustain depression and gradually restore the capacity for meaningful forward movement in life. The aim is not to fight depression or bypass it. It is to develop a different relationship with the inner system that holds depression in place, allowing clarity, compassion, and agency to emerge again. It’s open to anyone 18 years of age or older.

If this description resonates with your experience, you’re welcome to schedule a short conversation to explore whether the group might be a good fit for you.

Drawing from over four decades of lived experience transforming chronic, treatment-resistant depression, alongside advanced professional training in Internal Family Systems and developmental coaching, Ciro Coelho offers both lived understanding and structured guidance. Beyond Depression reflects the integration of personal transformation and professional depth.

This is not a passive sharing circle. It is an active, carefully designed transformational process focused on restoring inner leadership and building sustainable capacity.

Participants receive:
• A structured understanding of depression through an IFS lens
• Direct experiential inner work within a carefully facilitated relational field
• Clear developmental structure for restoring agency and forward direction
• Practical integration tools to support meaningful action in daily life
• At the end of each session, a summary of the session, a link to view a recording of the session (available for two weeks), and a suggested weekly practice

The Developmental Arc

Each 12-session cycle follows a deliberate progression:

• Orientation and establishment of relational safety
• Deep experiential work and guided witnessing within the group field
• Integration into clear, actionable next steps in participants’ lives

Participants may continue into future cycles to deepen and extend the work.

The Model

Internal Family Systems is an evidence-based, trauma-informed model that understands the psyche as an ecosystem of parts — or subpersonalities —, all organized around an innate core of clarity, compassion, and calm known as Self. Rather than suppressing inner experience, IFS teaches us how to listen, befriend, and unburden what hurts.

Sessions are grounded in advanced IFS training and structured relational group process, enriched by somatic awareness and mindfulness practices.

About Ciro

For more than four decades, Ciro Coelho lived with chronic, treatment-resistant depression. The path that eventually helped him transform that experience became the foundation of the work he now offers.

Today, he works internationally with individuals and groups as a Level 3–trained Internal Family Systems Practitioner and Certified Integral Coach, guiding structured processes that help people restore inner leadership and move forward in their lives again.

Important Note

This group is offered within a coaching and psychoeducational framework and is not psychotherapy. Participation does not establish a therapeutic relationship and is not a substitute for mental health treatment. Participants are encouraged to maintain appropriate clinical care as needed.

“Ciro, I can’t thank you enough for this wonderful opportunity. It’s Magical on quite a few levels, from my relationship with my son (who participated in the group) to reigniting the spark of creativity!”

Michael Uys - Award-winning Filmmaker and Television Commercial Director – Brooklyn, NY

“I have continually participated in Ciro’s online Inward Ride since April of 2020. I get my value system shaken to its core and I grow with each session, and I am hugely appreciative of the warmth and acceptance of the group. I really cannot recommend it highly enough. I am learning things that I never thought possible.”

Luke Rowe – Real Estate Investor – Jakarta, Indonesia

"Inward Ride arrived in my life at a moment when I was struggling with finding peace, balance and joy. Ciro created a safe and open space for me and others in our group to practice vulnerability, explore inner tools of acceptance and curiosity, and discover self-love. During my Inward Ride journey, I knew I could count on a weekly dose of wise guidance from Ciro, warmth from the support of the group, and the precious moment of honoring myself. If there's any sense of misalignment in one's life, I would highly recommend considering taking an Inward Ride."

Iosefa Alofaituli, Executive Director CIELO – Los Angeles, CA

"Congratulations on the development of this amazing group offering. Rarely do I see such emotional and spiritual courage and vulnerability matched with the structure, preparedness, and groundedness that Ciro brings to this program.”

Sarah Todd – Proprietor, Musician, Creative Producer – Iggy T Music - Seattle, WA

“Thank you for an enlightening Inward Ride, Ciro. Your presence and focus on each student was such a gift, and I felt completely held by the love that you wrapped the entire group up in. I feel that through the extreme level of intimacy and vulnerability that we shared together as a group, you helped me cultivate my inner gold. Through conscious observation of emotion and how I engage with others, and how others engage with me, I have found a real sense of spiritual alignment even in our short seven sessions. I have learned to attend to myself in a new way. “

Alex Uys – 2020 College Graduate – San Diego, CA
